As of August 14, 2007, The U.S consumer product Commision announced that the “Sarge” die cast toy cars are to be recalled. It has become evident that the surface paints on the toys contain lead levels higher than the federal standards. This is harardous to the children playing with them because the lead is toxic, and if injested can cause severe health effects.

Although there are no incidents or injuries yet reported, it is better to be safe than sorry. If you have purchased the 2 ½ inch “Sarge” toy cars between May 2007 and August 2007, then you should immediately take away the recalled toy from children and contact Mattel immediately.

If you or a loved one has been affected by this recalled toy then contact Reich and Binstock today.
